NuFeed Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

NuFeed is designed as a local-first reader. This policy explains what the app stores, when data syncs, and how optional AI features work.

Information stored by NuFeed

NuFeed stores your subscriptions, folders, articles, reading state, favorite state, extraction settings, and app preferences on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, NuFeed stores sync data in your own iCloud Drive so your devices can share subscriptions and reading progress.

AI API keys and AI requests

NuFeed does not provide a built-in AI service account. If you use bilingual translation or full-article summaries, you configure your own third-party AI API provider and API key. API keys are stored locally on your device using the system keychain when available.

When you use AI features, the relevant article text may be sent to the AI provider you configured so that provider can return a translation or summary. Your use of that provider is subject to the provider's own privacy policy and terms.

iCloud sync

If enabled, NuFeed uses the user's iCloud Drive to sync app data such as subscriptions, article state, read/unread state, favorites, and related metadata. NuFeed does not operate a separate sync server.

Purchases

NuFeed Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. NuFeed receives purchase entitlement information from StoreKit so it can unlock paid features. Payment information is handled by Apple.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

NuFeed does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. NuFeed does not sell personal data.

Support

If you contact support, any information you choose to provide will be used only to respond to your request and improve the app.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when NuFeed changes. The latest version will be published on this page.
